The Secret Life of Ponds! Tiny Creatures, Big Stories

Join us for a special one‑hour program at Mass Audubon as we explore the fascinating freshwater habitats of Cape Cod. Led by Mass Audubon’s naturalists, this presentation takes a close look at the ponds, streams, and vernal pools that support an incredible variety of life. We’ll learn about freshwater critters that  tell us a lot about the health of our waters, and you’ll learn how their presence helps biologists understand the wellbeing of local ecosystems.

Come discover how the often‑overlooked animals that support fish, turtles, birds, and other wildlife, and why protection of our freshwater habitats is so important for Cape Cod’s biodiversity.
