Meeting at the Wellfleet Audubon, we start with an indoor presentation on ongoing research and then we then head to the flats to search for, observe, and tag horseshoe crabs during spawning. Learn about their biology, behavior, conservation, and management.
What to bring/wear: Comfortable waterproof boots (rubber boots recommended); be prepared to walk up to 2 miles in soft sand, mud, and uneven terrain and to get wet!
