Discover the fascinating world of Cape Cod’s nesting birds! On Friday, May 29, 2026,

from 10:00–11:00 AM, join Mass Audubon experts at Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary

for an engaging program on breeding biology, nesting requirements, and nest

construction. Explore the sanctuary and participate in a real nest-box survey alongside

citizen-science volunteers. Wear comfortable walking shoes, bring water, and be

prepared to walk a mile or more on uneven terrain and soft sand. Space is limited to

12 participants. Wellfleet residents and taxpayers receive first preference for sign-ups.
